Services Offered
SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING provides professional sharpening services for both knives and swords, including in-person and mail-in options. We strive to deliver the highest quality service to enhance the performance and longevity of your blades.
Sharper than New Guarantee
Our guarantee promises an edge that is sharper than the original knife manufacturer put on the blade when it was new and directly from the factory. This guarantee is exclusively applicable to knives. If your knife is not sharper than new, you will receive your money back. Sharpness must be quantifiable with a number assessed by SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING using a sharpness tester on the sharpened blade within 24 hours, along with a sample new knife tested for comparison to verify that it is truly not sharper than new.
Appointment Policy
Our in-person services are offered by appointment only. Please contact us to schedule a time that is convenient for you.
Mail-In Sharpening Service
Customers can opt to mail their knives and swords to SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING for service. Please package your items securely to prevent damage during shipping. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Return shipping will be arranged once the items have been sharpened. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise specified.
Pricing and Payment
Prices for our services are listed on our website and are subject to change. Payment is due upon completion of services for in-person transactions or prior to return shipment for mail-in services. We accept various forms of payment including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, UnionPay International, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Cash App Pay, Afterpay, Venmo, PayPal, and legal tender.
New Customer Discount
A 10% discount is available for first-time customers. This offer is applicable to one transaction per customer and can be modified or withdrawn at any time. Please note that this discount is not valid at vendor events.
Liability and Release
SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING performs services with the utmost care and precision. However, once the knives or swords are returned to you, SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING assumes no responsibility for any injuries or damages that may result from the use of the sharpened items. By accepting our services, you agree to use your items responsibly and at your own risk. You hereby release, waive, and discharge SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING and its employees, agents, and representatives from any liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of using our services.
Warranty
Our sharpening service is provided "as is" and we do not offer guarantees or warranties beyond the quality of our craftsmanship at the time of service, except for the Sharper than New guarantee specifically detailed herein.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Changes to Terms
SQUARED AWAY SHARPENING reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
